Custom Blank Cigarette Boxes

Not every cigarette box needs full print before it serves a purpose. Blank cigarette boxes are used for product sampling before a brand commits to a final design, for private label supply where the buyer applies their own label, for small-run testing where the priority is the product inside rather than the print outside, and for wholesale stock that needs to ship before artwork is finalized. iBOX Factory makes blank cigarette boxes in white, black, natural Kraft, and custom color stocks with the same structural quality and board precision as our full print range. From 100 units with free US shipping.

Description

White, Black, Kraft, and Custom Color Stock Options

A blank cigarette box is not one thing. A matte white box communicates clinical neutrality and is ideal for a brand that will add a clean typographic label. A matte black box communicates premium restraint and is a strong base for a gold foil or silver label application. A natural Kraft box communicates environmental values and artisan production and suits brands building a natural tobacco identity. A custom color stock, a deep navy, a forest green, a warm cream, creates a distinctive base that carries the brand identity through the surface color alone. We produce blank cigarette boxes in all of these options and advise on the surface that works best for the intended label or application approach.

Flip Top Structure That Works Whether the Box Is Printed or Plain

A blank box is not a structurally inferior product. The flip top on a blank cigarette box from iBOX Factory has the same crease quality, the same hinge geometry, and the same board weight as a full print box from the same specification. The lid opens cleanly. The box holds its shape. The interior maintains its dimensions. A sampling team distributing blank boxes with a simple sticker label needs the box to perform as well as a finished product pack because the box is forming a first impression on behalf of the brand even in a test context.

Surface Quality That Accepts Labels and Stamps Without Bubbling

A blank cigarette box surface that bubbles, wrinkles, or separates when a pressure-sensitive label is applied is not a usable blank. We produce blank cigarette box surfaces specifically to accept label application cleanly. The coating is chosen for its compatibility with adhesive label stock. The surface is flat and uniform across the full panel. A label applied to a blank iBOX Factory cigarette box sits flat, adheres evenly, and does not lift at the edges after a day of handling. These are not incidental qualities. They are the technical requirements we build into every blank cigarette box we produce.

Small Run Sampling for Brands Testing Before Committing

A tobacco brand that is finalizing a product before committing to a full printed run benefits from blank boxes that let them put product in consumers’ hands without the cost and lead time of a full print specification. A small run of blank boxes with a simple label allows real-world product testing, consumer feedback collection, and trade buyer presentations without the brand being locked into a print design that might change. We produce blank cigarette boxes from 100 units specifically for this kind of pre-launch and sampling use, with the same structural quality as our full production runs.

Private Label Supply and Wholesale Neutral Stock

Private label tobacco buyers who apply their own label stock need a blank box that accepts their label without distortion and that has the structural quality to carry the product to their retail buyer without communicating cheapness through the box itself. Wholesale distributors who hold neutral stock for multiple clients need a blank box with a surface that does not show handling marks or age visibly during the storage period before it reaches the final buyer. We address both of these requirements through surface coating choices and board grade selections that are made based on the specific use context the buyer describes.

Custom Dimensions for Blank Boxes That Need to Fit a Specific Cigarette Count

Standard blank cigarette boxes are produced in the dimensions that fit standard king-size and regular-size cigarette counts. Custom dimensions are available for brands with non-standard cigarette lengths, alternative product counts per box, or specific packaging dimensions required by a retail buyer. We produce blank cigarette boxes in custom dimensions from 100 units with the same lead time as standard dimensions. The blank surface is the same regardless of the dimension. The structural quality and the board specification do not change.

Artwork Preparation Guide

Cut Line (Black Line)

Indicates the cut at its final size. Important artwork and text should be placed at least 0.125 inches inside of the cut line.

Perforation (Dotted Black Lines)

Perforation line refers to paper that is punched with very small holes to allow the paper to be torn and folded easily.

Bleed Line (Red Lines)

Indicates where the bleed line is located. Any artwork which goes to the cut line should be extended to the bleed line to get a seamless print.

Crease Line (Green Lines)

Indicates where the product is to be folded.

Safety Margin (Dotted Green Lines)

Indicates where artwork and text should safely be placed inside. As an industry standard, all artwork should at least be placed 0.125 inches away from the cut line unless your design is intentional.
