Sleeve Styles and When to Use Them
Custom Box Sleeve Packaging is the classic slide-on sleeve for an existing box or tray, and it can be made as a simple, full, window, tuck end or pull-tab sleeve. The Bowl Sleeve wraps a round or tapered bowl, common for prepared meals and takeout. The Sleeve with Cap Lock Box adds cap lock flaps that hold the sleeve in place on the box. The Sleeve with Product Retainers holds items in position inside the sleeve with die-cut retainers, useful for bottles, jars or tools that should not shift.
Sleeve Stocks, Finishes and Ordering
Because a sleeve is mostly print surface, finishing matters. The product pages list white, colored, kraft, textured, foil metallic and holographic cardstocks, printed in CMYK or PMS with gloss, matte or spot UV coating. Gold or silver foiling, embossing and raised ink add texture, and a window cut-out with PVC sheet lets the product show through.
