Description

We Build the Box Around the Socket Format and Any Hardware

Switched sockets come in single, double, and multi-gang formats and each needs a correctly sized box. We size every socket box from the actual product dimensions and design the interior to hold the socket and any included mounting hardware or instruction sheet securely. A well-fitted box prevents the socket from shifting during transit and communicates a professional product.

Technical Spec Panels That Inform the Professional Buyer

Electrical professionals and informed consumers compare amp rating, voltage, compatibility, and safety certifications before purchasing a socket. We plan a technical spec panel as a primary label element on every switched socket box, carrying the key specifications in a clear and readable format. Your electrical team should confirm the exact content requirements for your product and jurisdiction.

Choose Between Retail Hardware and Trade Supply Formats

Switched sockets are sold in hardware stores, electrical wholesalers, and through trade supply channels. A retail hardware format needs to stand on a shelf and communicate the product type and brand clearly. A trade supply format prioritises practical product identification and efficient distribution labeling. We offer both and help you match the packaging to the primary channel.

Durable Materials for Hardware Store Environments

Hardware stores put packaging through more handling than most retail environments. Products are carried, stacked, and moved by shoppers and staff throughout a trading day. We use board grades and coating options that keep the print looking clean through this level of handling. A matte aqueous coating gives practical surface durability for hardware product packaging without compromising the brand presentation.

Batch Codes and Traceability Labels

Electrical products often require batch code and traceability information on the outer packaging for compliance purposes. We plan dedicated batch code and barcode areas as standard features on switched socket box layouts. Your compliance team should confirm the specific labeling requirements for your product and market. We build the space for the content your team provides.

Plan a Full Electrical Accessories Range From One Brief

Electrical brands selling sockets alongside adapters, circuit breakers, and other accessories benefit from a consistent packaging system across the range. We offer Custom Circuit Breaker Boxes, Custom Adaptor Boxes, and Custom Fire Alarm Boxes to help you package your complete electrical accessories range with consistent branding.

Artwork Preparation Guide

Cut Line (Black Line)

Indicates the cut at its final size. Important artwork and text should be placed at least 0.125 inches inside of the cut line.

Perforation (Dotted Black Lines)

Perforation line refers to paper that is punched with very small holes to allow the paper to be torn and folded easily.

Bleed Line (Red Lines)

Indicates where the bleed line is located. Any artwork which goes to the cut line should be extended to the bleed line to get a seamless print.

Crease Line (Green Lines)

Indicates where the product is to be folded.

Safety Margin (Dotted Green Lines)

Indicates where artwork and text should safely be placed inside. As an industry standard, all artwork should at least be placed 0.125 inches away from the cut line unless your design is intentional.
