Description

We Offer Cable Box Formats For Coiled, Flat, and Braided Cables

Data cables come in different lengths, thicknesses, and coil diameters and the box needs to accommodate the specific cable format. A standard braided cable coiled tightly fits differently from a flat cable or a longer 2-metre cable with a larger coil diameter. We size every USB data cable box from the actual cable coil dimensions so the cable sits neatly inside without forcing the packaging or leaving excessive void space. Multi-cable packs are available in appropriately sized multi-unit formats.

Compatibility Labels and Connector Type Coding

USB-A to USB-C, lightning, micro-USB, and multi-connector cables each need a clear compatibility statement on the front panel. Buyers who pick up the wrong cable and take it home are frustrated customers. We plan the connector type and compatibility callout as a primary front panel element on every cable box we produce. For brands selling multiple cable types under the same brand, a colour coding system per connector type keeps the range easy to navigate on a retail shelf or in an online product catalogue.

Hang Tab and Peg Display for Electronics and Mobile Accessory Stores

USB data cables are one of the most commonly peg-displayed product types in electronics retail and we build hang tabs into cable packaging as a standard option. A hang tab with a standard peg hole diameter works across most retail hook display systems. For brands using a header display card to increase visibility from a distance, we build that into the box design. A box that hangs cleanly, reads the brand and connector type clearly from the front, and presents the coiled cable neatly is all a cable brand needs to compete effectively in a retail aisle.

Full Colour Print That Elevates a Commodity Product

Data cables are a high-volume commodity product category and branding is one of the most effective ways to stand out from unbranded competitors. A well-printed branded cable box communicates quality and trust before the cable is ever tested. We print USB data cable boxes in full CMYK with vivid brand systems, bold connector type callouts, and any quality certification or warranty messaging the brand wants to communicate. Single, two colour, and full colour print options are all available depending on the brand design and the budget.

Variant Coding for Multi-Cable Ranges

Cable brands typically sell across multiple connector types and multiple lengths. A variant coding system where each cable type has a primary colour or a colour accent and each length has its own size indicator makes the full range easy for buyers to navigate without reading every box. We build variant coding into the brand system from the first cable specification so new lengths and connector types launch consistently without disrupting the existing range design.

Wholesale and Private Label Cable Packaging

Cable wholesalers and private label brands need packaging that communicates the connector type and the brand identity clearly at a cost that works for a high-volume commodity product. We make wholesale USB cable boxes from 100 units with progressive pricing that makes branded cable packaging genuinely cost-competitive. The same print quality standard applies at all volumes. Custom USB Boxes are available for brands that also need packaging for USB drives alongside their data cable range.

FAQs

Can cable boxes include a hang tab for peg display?

Yes. Hang tabs for standard retail peg dimensions are a standard option on all USB data cable box formats.

Can different connector types use a shared box format with colour coding?

Yes. A shared structure with connector-specific colour coding and artwork is the most efficient approach for multi-connector cable ranges.

What is the minimum order for custom USB data cable boxes?

100 units per specification. Request your quote today.

Can cable boxes show the cable through a window?

Yes. A front window is available and works well for braided cables where the cable braid colour or texture is a selling feature.

Artwork Preparation Guide

Cut Line (Black Line)

Indicates the cut at its final size. Important artwork and text should be placed at least 0.125 inches inside of the cut line.

Perforation (Dotted Black Lines)

Perforation line refers to paper that is punched with very small holes to allow the paper to be torn and folded easily.

Bleed Line (Red Lines)

Indicates where the bleed line is located. Any artwork which goes to the cut line should be extended to the bleed line to get a seamless print.

Crease Line (Green Lines)

Indicates where the product is to be folded.

Safety Margin (Dotted Green Lines)

Indicates where artwork and text should safely be placed inside. As an industry standard, all artwork should at least be placed 0.125 inches away from the cut line unless your design is intentional.
