Holster Construction That Holds the Bar Securely
A holster soap box wraps around the sides and base of the soap bar, leaving the top face fully exposed. The structural challenge is holding the bar securely without pressure marks on the exposed top surface and without the bar sliding out of the holster during retail display or transit. We build holster boxes from the actual bar dimensions with a friction fit that holds the bar firmly without clamping. The depth of the holster walls is calibrated to the bar height so the bar is held at the right position not so deep that the exposed face is recessed, not so shallow that the bar falls out when the display is tilted.
