Custom Soap Bands

A soap band is the most material-minimal soap packaging decision a brand can make and in a category increasingly aware of its packaging waste, that decision communicates something powerful. A single strip of printed paper or card wrapping around the middle of a bar leaves most of the soap visible, uses the absolute minimum of material, and still carries the brand identity, the scent name, and the key ingredient information. iBOX Factory makes custom soap bands for zero-waste soap brands, artisan soap makers, and natural beauty companies that want to communicate the soap’s quality through the bar itself rather than concealing it inside a box. From 100 units with free US shipping.

Description

Band Width and Position for Maximum Brand Visibility

We help you choose the ideal soap band width to display essential product information while keeping the right amount of the soap visible. Each band is sized to fit your bar securely and enhance product presentation.

Paper, Card, and Recycled Material Options

We produce soap bands from kraft paper, recycled paper, and unbleached natural paper, using materials that reflect environmental values through both their appearance and recyclability. White paper bands suit clean, contemporary brand identities. A colored paper band in a brand-specific tone creates strong visual impact with minimal material. Seed paper bands communicate the most radical environmental commitment available in soap packaging — the buyer can plant the band after use. We produce soap bands in all of these material options.

Print on a Narrow Surface — Getting the Hierarchy Right

We design soap band layouts for narrow print areas, keeping your brand, product name, ingredients, and required information clear and easy to read on every panel.

Belly Band vs Wrapper Band Formats

A belly band wraps around the middle of the bar and leaves the top and bottom ends fully exposed. This is the most minimal format and the most effective at communicating handmade quality through the visible bar surfaces. A wrapper band wraps around the soap bar with an overlapping seam, providing extra print space while keeping both ends of the bar visible. The wrapper band suits brands with more information to communicate or a more complex graphic design that benefits from the larger print area. We produce both and advise based on the specific brand communication needs.

Environmental Communication Through the Band Itself

A zero-waste soap band reinforces your brand’s environmental commitment through its material, finish, and printed environmental certification marks. A 100% recycled paper band. An FSC-certified kraft band. A seed paper band with planting instructions. These choices are not peripheral to the brand’s environmental positioning  they are the most tangible proof point available at the point of purchase. We help zero-waste brands build these communications into the band design effectively.

Artwork Preparation Guide

Cut Line (Black Line)

Indicates the cut at its final size. Important artwork and text should be placed at least 0.125 inches inside of the cut line.

Perforation (Dotted Black Lines)

Perforation line refers to paper that is punched with very small holes to allow the paper to be torn and folded easily.

Bleed Line (Red Lines)

Indicates where the bleed line is located. Any artwork which goes to the cut line should be extended to the bleed line to get a seamless print.

Crease Line (Green Lines)

Indicates where the product is to be folded.

Safety Margin (Dotted Green Lines)

Indicates where artwork and text should safely be placed inside. As an industry standard, all artwork should at least be placed 0.125 inches away from the cut line unless your design is intentional.
