Custom Spout Pouches

Custom spout pouches make liquid packaging cleaner, easier, and more convenient. A well-engineered spout pouch solves that entirely. The spout controls the flow, the resealable cap stops the drip, and the flexible walls collapse as the product empties so there is no wasted product and no awkward pouring. For liquid brands ready to move beyond rigid bottles, this is the format that does it properly.

Description

Spout Engineering for Controlled, Leak-Free Dispensing

The spout is the key functional feature of a spout pouch. We match the spout diameter to your product’s viscosity for smooth, mess-free pouring. Sizes range from approximately 2.2 mm for thin liquids to 33 mm for thick sauces and food products. Furthermore, we heat-seal the spout into the pouch to create a leak-proof, hermetic seal for reliable performance during shipping, storage, and consumer use.

Closure Options for Every Product and Use Context

We offer spout pouches with screw caps for repeated use, flip-top closures for one-handed dispensing, and tamper-evident closures for products that require a secure first-opening seal. The closure choice depends on the product type, the dispensing frequency, the distribution channel, and any tamper-evidence requirements of the specific market. We advise on the right closure for every product and application context.

Capacity Range From 2ml to 3 Liters

Custom spout pouches are available from tiny 2ml single-serve and sample formats through standard 100ml, 200ml, and 500ml retail formats, to large 1 liter and 3 liter bulk and food service pouches. Baby food pouches in 90ml to 200ml formats. Sauce and condiment pouches in 200ml to 500ml retail sizes. Beverage and juice pouches in standard 200ml to 1 liter sizes. Cooking oil and specialty food formats in 500ml to 3 liter bulk sizes. The right capacity is matched to the product format, the use frequency, and the retail channel’s standard size expectations for the specific product category.

Multi-Layer Laminate Barrier Construction

Spout pouches are constructed from multi-layer laminate film with PET, PE, and aluminum foil layer combinations that provide the barrier performance appropriate for each product type. Food-grade and liquid-safe construction across all formats. Hot-fill compatible variants for products filled at elevated temperatures. Oxygen barrier layers for liquid products sensitive to oxidation. Moisture barrier for products sensitive to humidity ingress. The right barrier specification is determined by the product chemistry, the fill temperature, and the required shelf life.

Stand-Up, Flat, and Barrel Pouch Styles

Spout pouches are available in stand-up formats with a gusset base that allows the filled pouch to display upright on a retail shelf, flat formats suited to hanging retail display and ecommerce shipping, and barrel pouch styles with a cylindrical form that provides a different aesthetic for premium beverage and specialty food products. The pouch style influences both retail presentation and logistics efficiency. Therefore, we evaluate your product’s retail environment and distribution requirements. Then, we recommend the pouch style that best supports your packaging goals.

Full-Color Printing for Liquid Brand Communication

Spout pouches provide a large, continuous front and back panel print surface that communicates the brand, the product, and any compliance or nutritional content with the same quality as any other flexible packaging format. We use high-resolution printing to reproduce your brand colors, photography, and design elements across the full pouch surface. Furthermore, this ensures strong shelf presence in retail stores. As a result, your packaging also stands out in ecommerce listings and supports purchase decisions.

Applications Across Food, Beverage, and Baby Products

We produce custom spout pouches for baby food, purees, juices, beverages, sauces, condiments, honey, cooking oils, health supplements, gels, lotions, and many other liquid products. We design each pouch for controlled dispensing and efficient flexible packaging.

Artwork Preparation Guide

Cut Line (Black Line)

Indicates the cut at its final size. Important artwork and text should be placed at least 0.125 inches inside of the cut line.

Perforation (Dotted Black Lines)

Perforation line refers to paper that is punched with very small holes to allow the paper to be torn and folded easily.

Bleed Line (Red Lines)

Indicates where the bleed line is located. Any artwork which goes to the cut line should be extended to the bleed line to get a seamless print.

Crease Line (Green Lines)

Indicates where the product is to be folded.

Safety Margin (Dotted Green Lines)

Indicates where artwork and text should safely be placed inside. As an industry standard, all artwork should at least be placed 0.125 inches away from the cut line unless your design is intentional.
