Description

Materials for Foundation Packaging

Foundation boxes are available in cardboard, Kraft, and rigid board. Cardboard is the most widely used option for foundation packaging, offering a clean surface for printing and reliable structural performance. Kraft suits natural and clean beauty cosmetic brands. Rigid board is available for premium foundation products and gift sets where a heavier box communicates a luxury price point. At iBOX Factory we help you choose the material that fits your cosmetic brand and your target market.

Printing That Shows Your Foundation Range Clearly

The print quality on your foundation boxes needs to communicate both the brand identity and the shade range accurately. We use CMYK and PMS color printing to reproduce your brand colors, shade swatches, and artwork with sharpness across every unit. For cosmetic brands with large foundation shade ranges, consistent color accuracy across every box is essential for creating a recognizable and navigable collection. Whether your foundation packaging uses lifestyle photography, clean graphic design, or detailed shade swatches, our printing delivers the quality your brand needs.

Finishes That Make Foundation Packaging Look Premium

The right finish on your foundation boxes communicates brand quality and attracts buyers at the shelf. Matte lamination gives a refined and sophisticated appearance. Gloss lamination delivers vivid, eye-catching color. Soft touch coating adds a premium tactile quality. Foil stamping adds a metallic luxury detail to logos and key brand elements. Embossing creates a raised texture on design features. Spot UV highlights specific areas with a glossy contrast. These finishes can be combined to create the exact look your cosmetic brand requires.

Box Styles for Foundation Products

Foundation boxes are available in tuck end, sleeve, and rigid styles to suit different bottle, pump, and compact formats. Tuck end boxes work well for pump and bottle foundation formats. Sleeve boxes create a premium presentation for gift sets. Rigid two-piece boxes communicate luxury for prestige cosmetic brands. Window boxes allow buyers to see the bottle or compact before purchasing. At iBOX Factory you choose the box style that best presents your foundation product.

Window Cutouts for Shade and Product Display

A window cutout on your foundation box lets buyers see the product or the shade before opening the packaging, which builds purchase confidence and adds selling appeal. Windows are die cut in any shape and covered with a clear film. For foundation brands where shade visibility at the shelf is a key purchase driver, a window showing the bottle or the shade through the packaging adds real commercial value to the box design.

Custom Inserts for Foundation Gift Sets

Foundation gift sets with multiple products need a custom insert to hold every item securely and present the full set cleanly when the box is opened. Cardboard, foam, and Kraft inserts are available in any configuration. A well-designed insert makes the gift set look curated and premium and communicates a cosmetic brand that cares about every detail of the product experience.

Shade Range Packaging for Full Foundation Collections

Foundation brands with large shade ranges benefit from a consistent packaging system where every shade box shares the same brand architecture, structure, and finish quality. A consistent range communicates a professional cosmetic brand with depth and authority at the shelf. At iBOX Factory we produce foundation range packaging from the same brand brief so every shade in the collection looks like it belongs to the same premium cosmetic brand.

Face Makeup Range Coordination

Foundation boxes produced as part of a complete face makeup range benefit from a consistent design system that ties every face product together. When your foundation, concealer, blush, and setting powder boxes all share the same brand architecture, color system, and finish quality, the full face range communicates a strong and coherent cosmetic brand identity. At BOX Factory we produce complete face makeup range packaging from the same brand brief.

Artwork Preparation Guide

Cut Line (Black Line)

Indicates the cut at its final size. Important artwork and text should be placed at least 0.125 inches inside of the cut line.

Perforation (Dotted Black Lines)

Perforation line refers to paper that is punched with very small holes to allow the paper to be torn and folded easily.

Bleed Line (Red Lines)

Indicates where the bleed line is located. Any artwork which goes to the cut line should be extended to the bleed line to get a seamless print.

Crease Line (Green Lines)

Indicates where the product is to be folded.

Safety Margin (Dotted Green Lines)

Indicates where artwork and text should safely be placed inside. As an industry standard, all artwork should at least be placed 0.125 inches away from the cut line unless your design is intentional.
