Custom Single Wall Paper Cups

Every coffee served in a branded cup is a brand impression that travels out of your cafe and into the world. A well-designed single wall paper cup communicates the personality of the brand, the care of the operation, and the quality of the drink inside, all before the first sip. That is an extraordinary return on a cup.

Description

Single Wall Construction and Its Applications

A single wall paper cup uses one layer of food-grade paperboard with a PE or water-based inner lining. This creates a moisture-resistant barrier that prevents leaks between the drink and cup wall. The lightweight design works well for cold drinks, ambient beverages, and hot drinks with added sleeves or double cups. Furthermore, it provides an affordable branding solution for high-volume cafes and food service operations.

Capacity Options From 8oz to 16oz

We produce single wall paper cups in 8 oz formats for espresso-based drinks, short coffees, and smaller beverage servings. These cups feature an approximate height of 60–93 mm and a 79 mm top diameter for consistent beverage service. The 12oz format is the standard for medium coffee and tea orders with a height of approximately 110mm and top diameter of 89mm. The 16oz format accommodates large coffee orders, cold brew, and full-size iced beverages with a height of 125 to 137mm. Each size is produced in the standard dimensions compatible with standard lids across every major lid system used in cafe and food service operations.

Food-Grade Paperboard and Leak-Resistant Lining

The paperboard used in single wall paper cups is food-grade at 250 to 310 GSM depending on the cup size, providing the structural rigidity needed for a cup that holds its shape when filled and handled. The inner PE or water-based coating creates the leak-resistant barrier that keeps the beverage inside the cup and prevents the moisture from compromising the cup wall’s structural integrity during the customer’s carry time. Eco-friendly water-based lining options are available for brands whose sustainability credentials extend to the inner cup coating.

Full Custom Brand Printing for Cafe Identity

The cylindrical body of a paper cup is one of the most visible brand surfaces in food service. It is held up, photographed, carried through offices and streets, and seen by everyone near the person holding it. Full-wrap custom printing in any brand color, design, or artwork makes every cup a brand ambassador for the cafe or food service operation it represents. We use high-resolution printing to reproduce brand identities with the accuracy and vibrancy that a well-designed cup deserves, so every cup leaving the counter communicates the brand consistently and professionally.

Lid Compatibility for Standard Cafe Operations

Single wall paper cups are produced in standard dimensions compatible with the major lid systems used across cafe and food service operations. Flat lids for cold beverages. Domed lids for iced drinks with whipped cream or toppings. Travel lids with sip holes for hot beverages on the go. The standard top diameters of 79mm for 8oz and 89mm for 12oz and 16oz are compatible with the widest range of lid options in commercial food service supply.

Stackable Design for Storage and Service Efficiency

We design single wall paper cups with a tapered shape for stable stacking. As a result, they fit neatly in dispensers, on counters, and in storage areas. This allows quick one-hand dispensing and keeps high-volume service running smoothly.

Event, Vending, and Corporate Applications

Custom single wall paper cups support cafes, restaurants, offices, catering events, vending operations, and promotional activations. They help brands communicate directly during beverage service. Furthermore, we make branded cups accessible for different business sizes with orders starting from 1000 units and delivery within 10–12 days.

Artwork Preparation Guide

Cut Line (Black Line)

Indicates the cut at its final size. Important artwork and text should be placed at least 0.125 inches inside of the cut line.

Perforation (Dotted Black Lines)

Perforation line refers to paper that is punched with very small holes to allow the paper to be torn and folded easily.

Bleed Line (Red Lines)

Indicates where the bleed line is located. Any artwork which goes to the cut line should be extended to the bleed line to get a seamless print.

Crease Line (Green Lines)

Indicates where the product is to be folded.

Safety Margin (Dotted Green Lines)

Indicates where artwork and text should safely be placed inside. As an industry standard, all artwork should at least be placed 0.125 inches away from the cut line unless your design is intentional.
