Custom Aluminum Cans

The can is one of the most efficient containers ever made. It stacks, it seals, it protects, and it ships at a density that no other rigid container format matches. For brands in food, paint, chemicals, and bulk storage, a properly specified custom aluminum can is the container that solves the problem cleanly and completely.

Description

Capacity Range From 8oz to 5-Gallon Industrial

We produce custom aluminum cans in sizes from 8 oz for specialty foods, sauces, and condiments to 16 oz, 32 oz, 64 oz, 1-gallon, and 5-gallon formats for food service, industrial, and bulk applications. We recommend the right can size based on your product volume, usage requirements, distribution channel, and supply chain needs.

Structural Strength for Commercial Distribution

We produce aluminum cans and metal containers with wall thicknesses that provide the strength needed for palletized storage, transportation, warehouse handling, and retail shelf stacking. As a result, they withstand the physical demands of commercial supply chains and help protect products from damage. We match the structural specification to your product weight, distribution method, and handling conditions, ensuring reliable performance from production through final delivery.

Lining Options for Every Product Chemistry

We offer aluminum cans with different lining options to suit your product. Unlined cans work well for paints, varnishes, and industrial products. BPA-free food-safe coatings are ideal for foods, oils, and sauces. We also provide epoxy-lined cans for pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, and products that require extra chemical resistance.

Lid Formats for Every Filling and Dispensing Context

We offer aluminum cans with press-fit and slip-on lids for paint, chemical, and storage products, screw-cap openings for controlled dispensing, seamed food can ends for hermetically sealed food applications, and bail-handle lids for paint cans and bucket-style pails. As a result, every closure matches your filling method, dispensing requirements, and end-use application.

Food Applications From Canned Goods to Specialty Oils

Aluminum and metal cans are the standard primary container for commercially canned food products including sauces, soups, beans, vegetables, and specialty food items. For artisan and specialty food brands, the can format communicates long shelf life, product purity, and a professional production standard that premium tin cans communicate particularly effectively. Specialty oil brands use metal cans for their superior light-blocking and oxidation-barrier properties compared to glass and plastic alternatives.

Paint, Chemical, and Industrial Applications

We produce metal cans from quart sizes to 5-gallon pails for paints, industrial coatings, chemicals, solvents, and other bulk liquid products. Their durable construction, chemical compatibility, and hermetic sealing make them ideal for demanding applications. Furthermore, we offer F-style rectangular cans, which maximize storage space, stack efficiently, and improve handling during transportation and distribution.

Recyclability and Environmental Credentials

Aluminum is the most recyclable packaging material in the commercial recycling system. It is recovered and reprocessed at higher rates than any other packaging material, and recycled aluminum requires only 5% of the energy needed to produce virgin aluminum. For brands whose buyers and B2B customers have sustainability commitments in their procurement criteria, aluminum cans communicate a material choice with the strongest recyclability credentials in the packaging industry.

Artwork Preparation Guide

Cut Line (Black Line)

Indicates the cut at its final size. Important artwork and text should be placed at least 0.125 inches inside of the cut line.

Perforation (Dotted Black Lines)

Perforation line refers to paper that is punched with very small holes to allow the paper to be torn and folded easily.

Bleed Line (Red Lines)

Indicates where the bleed line is located. Any artwork which goes to the cut line should be extended to the bleed line to get a seamless print.

Crease Line (Green Lines)

Indicates where the product is to be folded.

Safety Margin (Dotted Green Lines)

Indicates where artwork and text should safely be placed inside. As an industry standard, all artwork should at least be placed 0.125 inches away from the cut line unless your design is intentional.
